This project has taught many new things about myself, I am very happy that I pushed through it to finish and ended with a great video. I wanted to make more of a meaningful video to end, so when coming up with ideas I taught about this year and all it's crazy moments. Although this year hit us all hard we all managed to get through it, I wanted to show that even when it seems like it's the end of the world you can still have fun and make good memories. This video captures my year and shows the positives. Editing this video was a lot more easier for me as I had an image and knew what I was looking for so I searched through a ton of my pictures and videos and chose the ones that I taught could best bring this image to life. Although all of the footage is filmed on my phone and I was not thinking of the way to it is all upside which kind of sucks but in the end I am very proud of it. I think this is my favorite video I have made. I have a knew love for filming and I hope to continue to make videos even if I don't end up uploading them.

This week I filmed a video about 15 random facts about me. This was one of the funnier videos to film. Throughout editing the video I had a lot of problems for example while watching the clips I noticed that most of the audio was messed up so I had to do a voice over on the whole video. Another thing was that a lot of clips were also not in the best quality mostly due to lighting. I tried downloading the video into my computer but for some reason the downloaded version did not have an audio. After many attempts to fix it I found that downloading from it off the editing software on the YouTube format worked the best and finally included sound. I had attempted to film this video many times but it just did not work so this was the best version I accomplished. I am still liking filming more than editing, I do not consider myself a very good editor but I do love the filming parts a lot more. This week I finally got my videos edited and uploaded it! I definitely understand why youtubers are always saying how long it takes them to edit a video! At first it took awhile to figure out how to upload everything and figure out what tools to do what but once I got a hang of it, it wasn't too bad. Watching all the clips over and over again really let me see what I need to work on while filming for example some of the clips are really shaky from me laughing but I also noticed that I didn't have the anti-shake on so that definitely explained a lot! Now that I have actually completed a video I've realized how much I actually enjoy the process, I'm so excited to keep filming and coming up with more video ideas. Hope you enjoy the video! In this video I surprise my brother with a Halloween bucket. He was pretty sad that we were not going to trick or treat this year so I taught this would cheer him up. |
